Our policy is to:
Ensure that our staff and sub-contractors all act in accordance with this policy and in compliance with our Environmental Management System
Continually strive to improve our environmental performance
Set environmental objectives and targets and publish them in promotional literature
Maintain a system to detect deviations from our policy, objectives and targets and to respond with the appropriate corrective actions
Implement procedures to detect and where possible prevent accidental emissions
Monitor and where possible to reduce to a minimum the impact of our activities on the local and general environment
Minimise the environmental effects of raw material sourcing by evaluating the probity of our suppliers and encouraging our customers to select (where available) environmentally responsible materials
Minimise waste and the consumption of resources (materials, fuel and energy)
Foster a sense of responsibility for the environment amongst our staff
Ensure all waste generated is, where possible, re-cycled or disposed of responsibly
Reduce the environmental effects of new developments through strategic evaluation and planning
Advise our customers where appropriate on the best environmental practices associated with the use and disposal of our products
